The printed copies of Here We Go arrived and look great. So proud of the final product. I sent all the packages to the backers of the Kickstarters and so far everyone seems happy with the book, which is great to hear. I've submitted the book to Comixology, so if you missed a chance to back the KS, hopefully you can get a digital version soon. I have heard Comixology can take 6-8 months to get indie books up, so it could be a while. In the meantime, I am looking into some other options to get the book available online for people.
In some other news, I've recently completed work on a pitch called DASH, BRADBURY! I am co-writing this with Tim Daniel and it's illustrated by Nick Johnson with letters by Thomas Mauer. I've talked about this in the past and if you want to see some behind the scenes stuff on the book check out the blog HERE, or HERE. As I've mentioned this is a bit of a spinoff from my short HERE WE GO. I'm really excited about this pitch. It's been a thrill working with Tim, Nick and Thomas and the pages look great. We've sent it off to a publisher so keeping our fingers crossed they like it. In the meantime, check out this awesome cover.
So that's about it for now. I also sent a pitch for Android Jones a couple of weeks back, so hoping to hear some good news on that sooner than later. Waiting really is the toughest part about comics.
If you didn't back the Kickstarter some new shorts are coming. THE SILVER STREET BOYS releases on Tuesday and UNCLE BUCK comes in November, so keep your eye out for those.
Talk to you soon.
